Airsoft? Empty Airsoft?

Post by Loki Mon Aug 27, 2007 4:11 pm

I am thinking of asking for an airsoft AEG Electric M85 Assault Rifle FPS-200 for my Bday and have some questions.

  • Do they hurt when you get shot?
  • how fast is 200 feet per second?
  • is this gun an ideal sniper rifle?

After that I might turn my treehouse into a bunker.

I love playing airsoft. I usually play it every day after school.

I'll try to answer your question.

1. It depends, if you get hit from far away it's just a quick sting but if someone shoots you from less than 6 feet away, you could get hurt. One time I was wearing a thick sweat shirt and someone shot me in the arm. It went so hard it went through my Sweatshirt and gave me a big spot on my arm. Just make sure you wear safety goggles and if you're wearing a hoodie, keep your hood up.

2. I'm not really sure. I can't think right during the summer. Razz

3. I've never seen anybody with that gun but I would recomend a shot gun. Machine guns take for ever to charge and pistols are hard to aim and they don't have a high velocity.

how often do you have to charge? and I'm usually a sniper, another one I saw was a sub-machine gun spring. I'm thinking I should get it, me and my friends play nerf, and no one cares if they get hit, so I was thinking this would make them want to actually dodge the bullet.

I've never had a machine gun but some of my friends do. They told me it only lasts for 20 minutes when it is fully charged.

ok, which one? and does the 20 minutes for a machine gun mean 20 minutes of walking around or 20 minutes of actual firing. I might get a liitle pistol for five bucks just to have it as a backup and to soot my brother when he bugs me.

The shot gun you picked out is pretty good. And I think the 20 minutes is just taking it out of the charger. But I'm not sure. I'll ask some of my friends when I see them again.

Yes, get the shot gun. A pistol is also good because if you run out of ammo you can just pull out your pistol and shoot that until you have time to load up the shot gun.
