Wow, you got detention for forgetting books. In 6th grade I forgot my books all the time. I never got a detention.

Ugh dreaded detention.
At the start of the year we had this crazy new teacher.
She was CONSISTANTLY giving the entire class detention.
Like 3 times a week for ages. She left hlf way inot the school year. (Hooray! I think she was as sick of us as we were of her. :p )

I've only had one. I'm a good boy now who does about half his homework in the beginning of class just to have it. We get detention for forgetting homework.

I got after-school detention... FOR NOTHING! It says I've had 'excessive tardies'. The only time I was late was when I was like a couple seconds late for social studies 'cause my locker jammed.

I know. My friend had the exact thing happend, So she had to stay after school for 10 minutes.

I just got a detention last week. I was going down the steps to lunch and some kid tripped me so I had to jump over 4 stairs. A teacher saw me and said "I just saw you clear those 4 stairs. NO RUNNING"
I just said someone tripped me and she's like "Yeah Sure". She made me stay after school for a detention but it wasn't that bad.

Everytime I've had detention either a few friends or the enitre class has been in there with me. The teacher (Old one) tried to get us to do our work but we didn't even bother bringing our books and just well..pretty much ignored her completely.
