Red Oak Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization helps their business members to achieve success. Their mission is to support good business practices and make available new business opportunities so as to build the community of tomorrow.
 
It is a volunteer based organization and hence the success of the Chamber relies on the dedication and commitment of its members. The program of work in the chamber is performed through committees and task forces. Contributing to one or more of these committees gives one the opportunity to have a voice in the business community, impact the business environment and influence the success of the education system, the city and the community at large.
 
Red Oak Area Chamber of Commerce helps one to expose their business to a wider audience of business owners and decision makers. They also help one to enhance their name recognition, expand their business with listings on the World Wide Web through the online membership directory.
 
Through their website listing, one can become a member of the chamber and is granted instant visibility on the web. One’s company, contact information, and web link are posted on the Chamber site. Business card display facility allows the chamber members to bring in a quantity of their business cards or brochures to display in the chamber office. The Chamber receives numerous visitors who come to gather information on Red Oak and its businesses. The new Chamber members are also listed in the Friday update, the Chamber’s weekly newsletter, with the member’s business name, contact name, address, phone and fax numbers and website address. On joining the Chamber, the members are welcomed with a grand opening, or ground breaking by holding a ribbon cutting or ground breaking ceremony.
 
ali sharaf, the owner of Red Oak Town Village Apartments, has contributed greatly to the economic development of Red Oak.
