What Graphic Programs Are Good?

Well, I'm planning on downloading some graphic programs for my Mac, and I want to know what programs you would recomend.

GIMP is nice. Awesome gradients, text, etc.

Gimp and uhhh... I forgot the name of it, and it is only for Mac. It has line in the name somewhere, and I think it can be found on the Apple website. I'll look.

I think its called appleworks. It should already be in your hard drive.

I don't think so, Newtown used to use it. And I know that it has Line in the name, but Appleworks will work I guess.

Well if he wants to use a simple program like ms paint then he should use appleworks.

Well Gimp is gonna be really hard at first so dont expect to make anything great.

Fireworks aint's free but its heck worth it. I'll post some screenies later.

I also suggest Seashore. It's only for Mac as I hear. I just heard about it, as well as Krita, also, you can find one for $39 here, this one is often compared to Photoshop. http://www.kanzelsberger.com/pixel/?page_id=12

Yeah gimp I have it, it's really good!

Personally, I enjoy Paint.net. Way better then Ms Paint that comes with your comp, and easier then GIMP. You can sue Gradients, Brushes, The Magic Wand, etc.
